I nearly saw the Queen when I was at uni in Aberystwyth. She was supposed to come and open our new Centre for Glaciology, but some people disrupted proceedings shortly beforehand elsewhere in town and so she never came :(

This morning we judged the photography categories in the village show. We were a little disappointed by the entries in the adult categories, but enjoyed the children's categories - they were much better.

I might be able to persuade Tim to add some extras of the children's 'carved vegetable' category - they were awesome as always!
