Mary Fedden

Exhibition called Simple Pleasures on at the Victoria Art Gallery in Bath. I loved her paintings, and I wish I had enough extras to show lots of them.  The main is called Two Fish and she painted it when she was 91. The extra is called Spring in Bath and was earlier. She was influenced by Picasso and Matisse in particular.  I was lucky to arrive just as a talk by an art historian was starting. As usually happens, she really added to my enjoyment of the exhibition.
