Web

Yesterday's heavy showers and muggy conditions led to a VERY misty start to the day - which highlighted all the spiders' webs which are festooned round the garden.  It's that time of year again! 

Although this was always going to be my blip, I also rather liked the 'filter' effect of the web shown in the extra.

I have to say, the few orb spiders which were actually inhabiting their webs looked less than impressed with the moisture. That one was taken with my Meyer Gorlitz Oreston lens; the main blip used my canon 100mm macro lens.
