Wait for me!

This afternoon we took a drive to Linlithgow and stopped off to check out the birds on the loch. Really very little action until someone arrived with a big bag of crumbs then a real feeding frenzy kicked off!
Birds arrived from everywhere - duck, geese, swans, gulls and coots - all vying for every morsel they could grab. I just caught this swan on touchdown, with its feet running frantically over the water. Rather less than elegant!
For the record, swans bully ducks and each other; coots bully everyone, including each other and those geese bully the swans! Four swans standing on the edge of the water quietly preening; up waddles Mr Goose and pecks each swan hard on the bum; swans take to the water in disgust. Never seen the like before!
