Sunday: Breakfast with the Birds

Fine and sunny morning, I put some washing in the machine, then sat outdoors to eat my breakfast with the birds. There were lots around but all camera shy …! Swallows are still here and chirping to each other as they flew overhead.

One of my recent DNA matches has Sowden in their tree and I was soon able to add them to that branch on my tree :-)

Washed all the water trays for birds and other wildlife.

Planted 16 garlic cloves in a large square tub - i paid about 40p for the garlic bulb at Lidl, chosen because it had inch long growing shoots :-)

MrD had taken a picnic with him on his motorbike and ate it near Ruthin, he got back home when the rain started this afternoon.

Thank goodness for iPlayer, I’m watching “New Tricks” :-)
We’ve had steady heavy rain for a few hours - I read this morning that the whole of Wales has been declared as drought area.
