Almost Home

It's been a though provoking few days... I remember when I once heard that upon the Queen's death, BBC would stop all normal programming for something like 5 days and I had not been looking forward to that. However  what I have seen has often been very interesting and revealing because I would normally avoid those programmes. Then all these proclamation ceremonies that haven't been used for 70 years now being organised by officials who wouldn't even have been alive for the last one, all fascinating, so much so that having watched some of the 170 mile funeral cortege, I decided to go in and see part of the last mile.
