Absence of colour
In the pouring, diagonal rain, I took the dogs out for an evening walk at much the same time as yesterday's.
The colour had been washed from the scene! Just a light from the other side of the loch proved it was still there.
I confess that I started walking along the low tide gravel quite smugly- my jacket feel very wind and water proof, but it only goes half way my thighs. Slowly I realised that the back of my legs were getting very wet, but hey ho! The rest of me was fine! Until I turned back for home... oh dear, then I was simply grateful for my glasses keeping a small part of me less wet- not dry!
10mins later, everything not protected by the marvellous men's 3/4 ski jacket, was soaked.
The dogs were so wet and cold that they calmly waited to be toweled dry - a rare example of patience for that springy pair!
But earlier in the day, on my way to my first service, I took a shot of this green tunnel ( extras), which had colour overload! I love how Blip makes you look at the world with wondering thankful eyes.
