Model show

So much to see! Primarily, I wanted to go to support my young friend AJ, in extra, with her Damnation Valley Rail Road layout. It covers everything from the Wild West to a crashed UFO, a fuel tank traffic accident, a burnt out chapel and the meeting of a coven up in the foothills!  Great fun and attention to detail too.

Also there were model displays of fishing boats and pond yachts, so Mike enjoyed himself too! Lots of cars, tractors, planes, Lego models, war games and whole battle layouts.  Something for everyone.
Met some old friends too, so a really good morning. 

Decided to stay in town for lunch Kirkwall was really busy with Saturday shoppers and two cruise liners in.  By contrast, the town hall café was blissfully peaceful!  And coffee is only £1.55 a cup!
