Aliens have landed!

This morning I went on a walk with the walking group on lanes and the Llanforda Estate.

On the way back I called in at F's garden (he's still testing positive). His daughter H has been desperate to demolish his ceiling which he was going to do as he needs to put pipework up there.  It's lath and plaster so there was a lot of dust.  H is so well masked up that Covid germs wouldn't stand a chance! 

In the old ceiling area was a couple of boxes of old Players cigarettes and a beautiful old walking stick.  The top is made from antler and fixed with a silver fastening band intricately decorated and with the initials G.N. which is a mystery. He knows exactly who owned the house from  being built as the lady that he bought it from was the last of the family to live there and her husband's ancestor built it.  None has the surname N.
