Birthday shenanigans

After a brilliant night last night, we had a jam packed day and night today!

Trip to Time Capsule in Coatbridge (possibility the scariest place in Scotland) for some ice skating and swimming! Ice skating was hilarious/a disaster as I had never been before and was less than good at it!! L gave us all a laugh though by gripping the sides in a Mr Bean-esque manner, with legs a kimbo and children whizzing past him! The other L was a total show off and while trying to race the kids, tripped and skidded half the length of the rink on his bum!

Swimming was hilarious, mainly because it was so awful!! Three flumes and massive queues, but we
still managed to entertain ourselves for 1.5 hours!

Then back to Edinburgh for running shoe shopping and a fabulous meal and night out with my favourite people! If only we hadn't decided to play Russian roulette with the shots, vodka and rum from a sherry glass is not a good idea!
