Greek vista
Our plane left at 6.15 this morning and we arrived at Preveza airport ahead of schedule. We travelled light with only hand luggage so as well as being first off the plane, we went straight through security having our passports stamped. A short wait for the chap delivering our hire car and then off we went. Our drive over the floating bridge to Lefkas went well and then to find where the ferry departed. The office was closed and my husband was concerned that we wouldn’t be able to buy tickets on the ferry but it was fine. We had spent some time in a taverna enjoying the shade and the fans as it is very hot, low 30s. We caught the ferry at 4.30, quick journey over to Meganissi and then we followed the instructions we had been give. To find our small one bed villa, however we had been given the instructions for the two bed villas owned by the same owners. We were eventually rescued and shown to the correct properties which we had almost passed earlier.
We were not able to explain to the manager who we think is the owners wife that we were given the wrong instructions, a bit embarrassing as it looked as though we were ungrateful for where we are staying but it’s great. This is the view while waiting for the ferry in Lefkas.
Posted a day late, too tired last night. It was a very long day. We found a nice restaurant for a meal.
