Preparing for winter

This i know can send many quite bonkers. Having many fruit trees as i do, a great display of webs and spiders can be witnessed, toward Autumn. As the nights draw in and cold air meets warm, our gardens. are a blaze with dewey webs. 
These spiders are simply preparing for winter. At seasons end, they lay traps and begin their assault of insects that have had their time.
This was a day well spent
