Number Crunching

Today I visited The Department of Pure Mathematics and Mathematical Statistics in Cambridge. After last week’s more formal interview, they invited me to come along and meet some of the staff and have a look round the site. I was there for 2 hours and learned a lot more about the role. It sounds like a challenging but very interesting and rewarding job.
I was exhausted after that so had a quiet afternoon apart from working through the piles of washing which seemed to have accumulated since we’ve been away.
D has band practice tonight and Alf is out for his birthday meal with Liv.
