Port Elizabeth St George's Club

We have a connection with the Royal family in PE. This is the club where hubby T has his twice weekly poker game at the Poker club that has been in existence for 80 years(each game minuted in detail!) They meet on a casual basis now, not in dress suits for dinner before the game as in years gone by.
But, most important, this is where King George VI, Queen Elizabeth and the Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret visited in 1947, and HM Queen Elizabeth II in 1995.
How moving it was this evening to see the King and his siblings keeping vigil over the Queen's coffin in St Giles Cathedral. 
I will be having an early night tonight after watching the US Open Men's final until 1am - I got as far as watching the end of the third set, and this morning watched the recorded end of the match! It was a thrilling match between two excellent players.
