Sizergh Castle (NT)

We've never been to Sizergh before and it was a revelation. A wonderful place to visit. We enjoyed looking around inside - so much to see. Lots of history and ancient stuff.
I did the first stage of an adventure lab cache and the multi cache. Not doing a lot of caching as the focus of the holiday isn't on geocaches but on getting out and about, seeing places and things.
After this we had lunch in the cafe.
On the way back to our B&B we called in Windermere village briefly. I realised, with a lot of disappointment that I had forgotten to buy a souvenir edition of the Daily Mail and there were none left when I remembered but I bought 2 others.
Seems unreal to think we won't see the Queen again.
