Maybe West Virginia shouldn't have topped its state capitol with a golden dome; this beautiful state has certainly been home to people who have survived tough circumstances. I wouldn't want to mine coal for a living, would you?

But on a fine spring day against a clear blue sky, that golden dome gleams as if it's transmitting to Mars. And that's got to make a West Virginian proud!
