Nancy and Sluggo

I am gazing down at our two silly ducks from the deck above. They were getting drinks from their mudtubs. In the morning when I let them out of their little A frame Nancy flies against the side impatient to get out. Sheesh... so impatient. Then I open the door and they waddle, very fast, muttering and swishing their tails over to the fresh water in the tubs and jump in. They have made their own little mud bath next to the tubs where I empty the water. They are such messy birds but seem to be enjoying themselves. Winter may be a whole nother experience.
