This fiscal legacy of the late Queen will live on in purse and wallet for a wee while yet. However, contactless payment is accelerating the demise of “actual money”. New notes and coins with The King on them will be snapped up as souvenirs. London hotels are cashing in too with eye watering state funeral price hikes. However, the service leadership of the late Queen whatever your view on the monarchy is, is in my opinion simply priceless.
