Day 3

Great cycling on the round the island route to Freshwater Bay and then on to the Needles, where the headwind was so strong it was hard to ride.  The Tour of Britain was due to finish here on Sunday, and I was looking forward to watching tv to see real cyclists whizzing along roads we've done, but the rest of the tour has now been cancelled.  We cycled northwards through a range of countryside up to Cowes.
