Autumn is coming!

The berries are apppearing. My honeysuckle has lost its leaves so it only has berries. Very pretty along with the pink ice plant.

A strange day. I have postponed tomorrow's trip to London where I was going to meet my schoolfriend Mary. But warnings about crowds on trains especially the underground have made us think we will wait until this chaos is over.

So I walked with Clare this afternoon. It was walking, broken by a good bit of sitting and chatting. Then a Morrisons trip as we have been stuck at home over tge last few days with all these workmen coming and going. Tomorrow should be our tree cutter team's last visit. We will miss them a bit! A jolly group and one is a huge jazz fan which means Jack has a new friend!
