Welcome

We had a food outing today--drove over the hill to San Jose to feast on dim sum, a treat we can't get at home. A good deal of the fun is gone because there are no longer roving carts with tempting arrangements; instead, you have to order from a printed menu, which generally doesn't have photos, so you don't exactly know what's what. Needless to say, we prefer pointing to the yummy bites on the cart, but I can't imagine a world where that would ever happen again. And still, we managed to order some wonderful food, including sesame balls for dessert. We haven't been this far from home (thirty miles) for months.
