Flying at half mast

I had a job interview today! My first interview in about 33 years!!!! Even if I don’t get this job, I have to say I kind of enjoyed the interview process.

It’s also our godson, Jax’s 13th birthday today. So I dropped off a present at their home and had some time with Andrew, who was the only one home.

Then the sisters-in-law we’re meeting for lunch at the Sunshine  Plaza. Probably the first time the three of us had been on our own. We dined at the German restaurant in the Plaza. We had a good time and a few hours past by quite happily. A gorgeous weather day as well.

Home to bake for a cake being picked up tomorrow.
