Neighbour gathering

We use to do such big events in our road but there’s been a massive turnover.

So when someone on the road WhatsApp chat suggested all coming out at 1pm today to greet one another, it seemed like a great opportunity.

We’re not a long road but I reckon there were about 60-80 of us. There’s some really friendly normal people, lots of familiar and dear old faces (not old old, just known old) and several new young families but there’s still a small few who bubble with their political unhappiness, who don’t like our faith either. In fact, they find faith repugnant. So they don’t look at us or acknowledge our existence. We are see-through. Hey Ho. It’s ok.
