Appendage

... to a tree.

I was looking for somewhere to go for an afternoon stroll and noticed that Windsor Great Park is currently allowing free entry and parking to allow people the opportunity to enjoy the landscape and reflect on the life of HM The Queen.  So it was a no brainer to head off to the peace and calm of Virginia Water and take the circular walk round the lake.

Almost at the end of my walk I came across this large clump of fungi forming an appendage to the base of a tree trunk; MonoMonday (with a bit of a stretch!) done and dusted!
