Autumn Apple
I did one of our usual circuits this afternoon, on the lookout for something autumnal for Tiny Tuesday. I found this tiny fallen apple, next to a fluffy white feather. I played around with them for a while but as is often the case the first shot I got was my favourite. The apple wasn't quite in focus, but I think that adds to the overall effect.
I got an unexpected second place in the camera club Summer Cup competition yesterday evening, for one of my Poppy Field images (the last extra) for the 'snail's eye view' subject. Goodness me there were loads of new faces at the meeting. There's going to be a lot more competition this year, for the raffles as well as for the actual photo contests :-)
In other news I'm going to watch the Pompey match this evening as it is streaming. Manager of the month, 5 league wins in a row, undefeated in the league, against the bottom side. It's got a 2-0 defeat written all over it!
