Half Mast

I walked past the village church this afternoon with Ivy so that I could get a blip - inspiration still lacking in that department!  I was touched to see the Union Jack flying at half mast. 

The procession of our late Queen's coffin along the Royal Mile in Edinburgh yesterday afternoon was incredible - solemn and dignified, likewise the service in St Giles' Cathedral.  My heart goes out to all the Royal Family, especially to our new King.
