A morning of odd jobs. Because I thought there might be a phone call I kept my phone in my pocket. I took some bits of wood, metal and more to the recycling site. Then got to work clearing more of the outside store. Most items went in the car for recycling (like an empty gas cylinder and metal petrol can) and a few I took around the side of the house to the wheelie bin. By lunchtime my phone had recorded a mile walked.

In the afternoon I drove to the recycling site again and then to Grasmere where I had a short walk up past Allan Bank. I’d thought about going to Elterwater for a change but had a feeling I might not find a parking space.
