Clouds

Our great nephew, Ben is visiting from Australia.  It is his first visit here and so we spent the first day of his visit taking him to many of Washington D.C's monuments and memorials.  We started at Arlington where we visited Kennedy's Grave, the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and the changing of the guard.  We then stopped briefly at my parents' grave (his great grandparents).  Then we crossed the bridge to the Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln, Korean, MLK Jr,  FDR, Jefferson (pictured here), WWII, and the White House.  We walked about 4-5 miles.

In spite of all that, the star of the day was the cloud covering.  Poor Ben, I must have commented on it at least a dozen times from multiple locations.  

My foot has mostly recovered and today really put it to the test.  So far so good.
