Ralph the Racing Pigeon

Ralph the Racing pigeon spent more than 12 hours stuck to the kitchen roof today. He had injured himself and could no longer fly. When he finally thought enough is enough he swooped down and used his last flight energy to land in my front garden. After waiting 2 hours for the RSPCA to come and collect him, Ralph had already made himself at home, invited himself into my house and nicked the cat's favourite snoozing spot in between the radiator and my Brompton bike. I was sad when the RSPCA man took Ralph away, but he said his dad collects ex racing pigeons so he will go to a good home. He was so friendly and docile, I wonder if my cat Pepsi would have minded had he stayed?
