Better Late

Yesterday’s weather coupled with tiredness meant that we didn’t get our Wetland Bird Survey done, so we did it done today. It was a beautiful morning. If proof were needed that Autumn is here, it was much cooler, there was mist over the water and the fungi were starting to fruit big time. This splendid Giant Polypore was growing on a beech tree by the reservoir.
