New Toy

I realised on going back to band that some of my drum kit skills weren't as good as I'd like them to be, particularly playing the hi hat with my foot.

I tend to practice on an electronic kit with a normal drum pad repurposed as a hi hat, so I thought I'd treat myself to a newer style one that fits onto a proper hi hat stand.

I have to say my initial impression is that it's fabulous - much more like the real thing than what I had before.  Now to persuade myself to practice it more...
