Second Wind
I've been amazed at how 'wild flowers' or weeds, according to my neighbour, are making a second appearance. I thought the toadflax had finished for the year but here it is, in flower again, welcoming bees.
The yellow hawkweed/mouseweed has flowered again too. Another batch of bluetits seem to have fledged. They're flying all over the garden.
Basil and I walked to St Botolph's church. Only Phillippa on duty with Stan and Mary taking coffee. Len arrived at noon to pick me up. We signed the book of condolence in honour of the Queen. I was really pleased that we managed to do that on black rimmed cream paper rather than online.
