Weird in the woods

After I'd been to keepfit and done some shopping I went for a short, slow run which included a loop in the woods. The sun was shining through and lighting up the dockens, normally very drab, but I see the camera has also picked up a spider web and a ghostly giant hogweed, all a bit strange.
After lunch I went down by the ponds to pick brambles and in the garden I picked apples, damsons, plums and tomatoes, then had to deal with them for freezing, drying or stewing. There are some apples to fit into the fridge somehow as they don't keep well otherwise and still a couple of pounds of plums to eat or preserve.
The sun shone all day and I did get a chance to laze in the hammock for a bit.
