Fly past

This lovely heron flew past us as we ate our lunch yesterday.
Another day of watching the coverage of the busy day the new King had from visiting Parliament and hearing condolences from the speakers from the House of Lords and The House of Commons, to his arrival back in Edinburgh where he met members of the public outside Holyrood and viewed the many flowers. A sad walk behind the Queens coffin up to St Giles for a beautiful service of thanks giving. Meetings with the Scottish Government and finally a vigil with his siblings beside his mums coffin that was draped in the Scottish Royal standard and the very old Scottish crown resting on top.Very moving scenes and Operation Unicorn which had obviously been so well planned by everyone including the Queen being carried out extremely well.
