Tea view
Some final tidying before the first estate agent arrived at 1.00pm to value our flat. A move may be afoot! MrM no longer needs a huge workshop, and we'd like a garden that's somewhat larger than our small concrete 'yard.
He stayed for almost 2 hours, much longer than expected (and an awful lot longer than MrM had hoped, as we hadn't had lunch before he arrived!). Time for a quick bite to eat before estate agent No. 2 arrived, and did the job in less than an hour. It's a quirky property, the sort they find difficult to value, so neither gave us a figure today. They'll get in touch tomorrow.
We both felt rather jaded after they'd left, so MrM suggested a trip to the coast. We ate our fish & chip tea on a bench overlooking the harbour at Seahouses, then walked along the pier and on a very short section of the Coastal Path. A quick half in the Schooner on the way back to the van as the sun was setting.
An extra of the sun setting behind Bamburgh Castle, that magical time when the sky turns from blue to orange as the light fades.
