Abundance

Today was one of completely satisfying indolence at home, doing nothing of import in these familiar surroundings not seen for more than six months, with the by now sadly familiar sights and sounds of this nation in mourning on TV. 

Walked to to Asda in the afternoon and today's pic was taken in the park along the way. Such an abundance of colour and growth.

Bro came early for dinner and an evening together, sometimes watching Her Majesty's journey from Edinburgh to Buckingham Palace, but we both got irritated (again) by the never ending stream of pointless talk-talk from the commentators, particularly when they rambled on about how respectfully quiet the crowds were. Did they not see the irony?  Rant over. 

Must mention the weather - as one might expect in Blighty - it rained! and several times too so even an abundance of raindrops today !! Hurrah!
