The Blue Lamp Version 2

I first Blipped this image back in March 2017 as part of a set entitled 'London Uncluttered'. I thought it would make a good subject for my recent sketching course.

As I mentioned before the intension of the course is not to faithfully draw the scene but to give it character and expression. Lines and shapes should be drawn loosely and distorted. The tutor uses the expression 'write your lines, don't draw them' which is a wonderful way to describe his methods.
