There used to be a house here, but it was pulled down about thirty years ago and some other houses built behind the frontage. For a while there was just waste land in front of that, but somebody planted a secret garden with benches and flowering plants and carved stones. It's popular with those who have neither homes nor gardens of their own. I could hear voices and chatter as I passed, but couldn't see the people, such was the height of the foliage.

I worked in two different offices today, and even caught up with some training. Two of my colleagues are on holiday and one is working in a different office. There's no banter!

Walked home, now resting foot. It's sore again.
