Turtle Power!

After my overnight stay in Barbados I awoke early and went for a walk on the beach near the hotel.

I was very suprised to see something being tossed about in the surf which I thought was a turtle, so I stopped and waited and sure enough it was a turtle. Then I noticed a second turtle too. This was the best shot that I managed to get as they were only ever visible on the surface for a couple of seconds and never in the same place twice, coupled with the sun on my camera screen it was a case of look at the sea, wait for a turtle and then click and hope.

Not the best photograph ever but it captured something I doubt I'll see in the wild again and therefore is the highlight of today and is a worthy blip.

I'm now in Guyana, so I should be able to start catching up on viewing and commenting on other peoples blips.
