Apple

The apples in the trees are really coming on - we think some of them will be ready for eating soon.  The previous house owners said that they were some sort of pippin - possibly cox's - we're looking forward to trying them out. This one just made the perfect apple blip.

A plasterer came round this morning to give us a quote for the living room.  We've realised that the whole house has wallpaper pasted directly on plaster board which has been painted over and not always in the best way with the best paint. Everything needs to be stripped before the plasterer can give us a proper quote so we started on that this evening.  We do like buying houses with multiple coats of wallpaper - behind the painted wallpaper is some more wallpaper which is brown and silver horzizontal stripes going across the wall.  Was certainly an interesting choice at some point.
