Another day of being in touch with some friends of Maureen, (mpp26), who was a victim of the awful boating accident in Kaikoura on 10th September. It’s so precious to be able to share thoughts, memories and the intense sorrow we all feel.

It’s affecting many people, and some unexpected. I had a call today from my 89yo neighbour, asking how I was as he’d only seen Missy around, but no sign of me. We eventually met at the end of the day and he gave me a big hug, because he could see & feel my sadness.
What a blessing. He’s had his share of sadness too, so he understands.
