Following last weeks Wednesday Workshop ‘Lighting Silhouettes’ session I though I would try a bit of tabletop backlighting. I tried a few objects and then Sue suggested my Alien Band the Mo and Brian gave to me I think on my 50th birthday. I just used two of the four band members today.

I coloured the back light with a green acetate and defused it. Added a displacement map texture in photoshop to create an out of world backdrop.

I used a 35mm Pentax Legacy Lens my friend Tim from two doors down gave me a while ago.
