That Looks Like a Tasty Morsel..

The Pukekos were enjoying the swamp vegetation
when I visited their pond today....
They are a beautiful,iridescent indigo blue with the
back and wings black and the large scarlet bill and
orange,red legs and feet completing a very exotic picture..
Wonderful to watch them,they are full of character..
