Dipper at Lynmouth

This morning we enjoyed a coffee on the balcony above the tourist information at Lynmouth . An excellent spot to watch the rain clouds drift over . The tides are very low this week so a trip with the boat doing coastal sailings from Porlock Weir to Lynmouth looks unlikely. 
We had a lovely picnic at our favourite spot at the start of the walk to Watersmeet . It was enjoyable to watch the dippers in the river, hopping and diving .
Driving home via Exford, the air ambulance was in the playing field there and we stopped to watch it take off,  although luckily there didn’t appear to be any serious issue.
