Commemoration

Today we held a service in our church on base to commemorate the life of our Queen. To help lead this service meant a lot to me. It was a moment of calm and reflection in the midst of a busy day. It was also the first time I sang “God save the King”. The other big thing today was saying goodbye to our bed and other items which should hopefully meet up with us again somewhere on the West Coast of the USA later this year. There was admin and forms and Skypes and a pastoral call too. Relaxing now before sorting out some insurance and then hitting the hay!
