Evening

We're now parked alongside the estuary at Audierne (see extra - it's a legitimate camping-car stopover, 4 euros per 24 hours!).

Went for a walk along the waterfront this afternoon - bright & sunny, but with a pleasant breeze keeping the "feels like" temperature down, then had another wander on my own as the sun dropped. We visited some 11years ago & I remember the changes in the light & the colours, but this time nothing seemed to quite work.

The main image is a yacht motoring quietly in past the already-laid-up fishing boats. The working fishing boats are stark & practical - my camera doesn't get very excited about them! The other extra is the Cap Sizun, another reconstructed 19th century fishing boat, originally specialising in lobsters, etc, but this version giving demonstrations & sailing trips. It was taken on our first walk as this one seemed better than my second, later attempt when the tide had come further in & the walkway was more noticeable.
