Eating my Words...
I was scrabbling around for a blip at 8.00pm with light beginning to fade. Thinking of the garden flowers I thought I might try the technique of having one flower, the subject in sharp focus with other flowers in much softer focus.
Initially I had thought of using tulips but they were all grouped together too tightly so it was too difficult to isolate one and in any case they had gone to bed for the night and closed up their petals. In the end I chose a lone daffodil that was placed near to a group of tulips and managed to isolate three of the tulips from the rest of the bunch.
I had vowed that I would not do a daffodil blip this year as I had got a bit fed up of seeing so many on other people's blips. So here you see me eating my words and humble pie.
