Lee Bay

This bay had some very interesting rocks, and our leaders made us work out what had happened in the past to create these formations.
It was obvious that the rocks had been laid down from the left, and our leaders told us this had happened in the Devonian period which was four hundred million years ago!!!
It is difficult to imagine this!! - but it was a long time ago!

The bay belongs to Lee Abbey, which is a religious retreat centre for people suffering from many different psychological problems - it is an important place for them to relax in.
