The last of the Rowan berries
I had to lean right out of my study window to look down and across the Golden Valley towards Butterow, whose buildings can be seen on the far hillside. The reason was to catch the last of the Rowan berries that are rapidly being gobbled up by birds.
A couple of thrushes have been appearing in the nearby trees, which usually happens at this time of year. They aren't resident in our garden but do live in and around the nearby cemetery. I expect they have had a go at these berries.
