Autumn

The barley field has been combined and the straw baled and taken away. Just bare earth and stubble left except for round the field margins.  Lots of small birds, wheatears, wrens and pipits etc flitting about. Geese everywhere, in the fields and noisily skeins of them overhead. A lovely bracing walk. 

Very windy and a quite chilly unless you can find a bit of shelter!
